Modern hotels feature reception desks in diverse styles and designs. In terms of materials, the main materials of hotel reception desks are wooden countertops, stainless steel countertops, marble countertops and glass components. Wooden reception desks create a warm atmosphere; stainless steel and glass reception desks reflect modern simplicity and elegance, and are ideal for business hotels and luxury hotels.
Hotel reception desks come in rectangular, L-shaped and circular shapes. Rectangular is the most popular reception desk shape. L-shaped can make effective use of space. How to select the right hotel reception desk
When selecting a hotel reception desk, all factors must be taken into account. The first and foremost is the overall style of the hotel. The style of the reception desk must perfectly match the style of hotel decoration. From the entrance to the reception desk, guests can feel the hotel atmosphere at a glance.
Next comes the evaluation of available area dimensions. If the hotel lobby is relatively small, you must choose a large rectangular reception desk. It is best to measure the dimensions in advance and design according to the actual layout of the lobby. Common hotel reception desk sizes
(i) Small reception desk: This type of reception desk is like a “small-sized artifact”, especially suitable for hotels with compact space. Size range: length 1.2-2.4 meters, width 0.6-0.8 meters, table height 0.9-1.1 meters. Suitable for economy and express hotels and apartment hotels.
(ii) Medium reception desk: Perfectly balanced, this style meets the needs of the majority of hotels.Size range: length 2.4-3.6 meters, width 0.8-1 meter, and the back background wall is generally 2.4 meters high. Suitable for three-star and four-star hotels and resorts.
(iii) Large reception desk: This type of reception desk is designed for large spaces and high-end positioning.
Size range: length 3.6-6 meters, width 1-1.2 meters, and the back background wall may be more than 3 meters, creating a tall and atmospheric feeling. Suitable for five-star hotels and large conference hotels.

(I) Customization Process:
Demand Communication: The designer will ask about the hotel’s positioning, lobby size, and desired style.
3D Rendering: Draw a design drawing based on the needs, and you can even see the color and lighting effects. If you are not satisfied, you can change it until you are satisfied.
Production: If fiberglass is used, the mold will be made, and marble will be cut and polished. Every detail is made according to the drawing. For example, if you want to engrave the hotel LOGO on the countertop, the master will carve it accurately.
(II) Customization Highlights:
Hidden Charging Port: Make several USB ports and sockets on the side of the countertop. When the guest’s mobile phone is out of power, they can charge it secretly without having to look for a power strip everywhere.
Lighting Atmosphere Group: Install a circle of light strips under the reception desk. When turned on at night, it looks like floating on the ground, which is super technological; or embed spotlights in the background wall to illuminate the hotel LOGO.
