Black and grey cosmetics store

Cosmetic store design

The Arora Skincare store takes “refined beauty experience + efficient product display” as its core logic, creating a modern, simple yet high-end spatial atmosphere. The color system is anchored in deep blue (the brand’s visual main color), dark gray (the texture base) and light wood color (warm and harmonious). Through the combination of modular and functional commercial furniture, it not only realizes the orderly display of all categories of beauty and skin care products, but also creates an immersive scene of “shopping + experience” for consumers, enabling the brand’s professionalism and the consumer experience to mutually empower each other.

Window display cabinet

The transparent entrance window display case, located to the right of the store entrance, serves as the first visual contact point, attracting customers and showcasing new products. It utilizes a “dark gray matte metal frame with multiple layers of highly transparent acrylic shelves.” The metal frame ensures stability while using a low-saturation color scheme to minimize its presence. The acrylic shelves maximize product color reproduction, and linear LED soft-light strips built into each shelf edge highlight colorful products like nail polish and samples.

Vertical stratification guides the customer experience: the upper shelf displays new/limited-edition makeup (such as limited-edition nail polish colors), the middle shelf showcases classic skincare sample sets, and the lower shelf displays stockpiles and tools (such as nail art sets). This vertical flow of traffic conveys the product logic of “leading products → main products → supplementary products.”

Wall-mounted high cabinet

The wall running the length of the store serves as the core platform for zoning all product categories. It’s constructed from dark gray high-density fiberboard with metal trim, a dark blue suede back, and light wood non-slip shelves. The dark blue suede back enhances the premium feel and color contrast of the product display; the light wood shelves feature acrylic bars to prevent small items from slipping; and some shelves feature hidden power supplies and makeup mirrors underneath, creating a “display + try-on” experience.

LED backlit signage (such as “EYE SHADOW” and “LIP GLOSS”) above each shelf clearly delineates categories like eyeshadow and lip gloss. The prime display area (middle level) houses the season’s featured open-shelf products (such as eyeshadow palettes and lipstick sets); the upper level displays inventory or large-packaged products (such as gift boxes); and the lower level accommodates refills and heavier products (such as large bottles of body lotion), achieving a balance between high-frequency reach and efficient storage.

Island counter

The central island, designed as a “core shopping hub” in the center of the store, connects the entrance display with the tall wall cabinets, guiding customers to explore deeper into the store. It features a modular design consisting of a dark gray metal frame, light wood soft-close drawers, and a scratch-resistant artificial stone countertop. The metal frame provides structural support and allows for cleaning. The light wood drawers (with black metal handles) store inventory, bills, and other items, balancing privacy and quality. The artificial stone countertop is scratch-resistant and wear-resistant, making it easy to clean and test items.

A light wood lip is placed along the edge of the countertop to prevent products from slipping. Seasonal themed sets (such as the “Autumn Skincare Gift Box”) are displayed in the center, flanked by star products from a single category (such as a popular face cream). Some islands are topped with black metal “COSMETIC” signage, reinforcing category recognition and providing visual demarcation between areas.

Beauty experience counter

It adopts a “white rock plate countertop + silver matte metal bracket + mirror cabinet with supplementary lighting”. The rock plate countertop is waterproof and stain-resistant, suitable for makeup trials, skin care and other scenarios. The metal frame is slender and stable, reducing the sense of structural heaviness. The mirror cabinet integrates “LED ring-shaped supplementary light silver mirror + closed storage compartment + hidden USB port”. The silver mirror ensures uniform light during makeup trials, the storage compartment stores trial accessories/tools, and the USB port meets the charging needs of electronic devices.

Reception desk

It adopts “light wood main cabinet body + dark grey artificial stone countertop + black metal decorative strips”. The shallow wood cabinet body presents the warm texture of natural wood grain. Artificial stone countertop integrated cash register equipment embedding position and promotional leaflet storage area; The black metal strips enhance the design’s refinement and weaken the “commercial tool feel”. Open small shelves are set up beside the cash register to display “small but beautiful” products such as aromatherapy samples and hand creams, leveraging the traffic during the cash register process to achieve cross-selling.

Experience area seats

The black leather swivel chair at the experience table has a seat/back made of skin-friendly PU leather (filled with high-density sponge) to ensure comfort for long-term experience; the black metal five-star feet have “gravity locking rollers” that automatically lock when sitting down (to ensure stability) and unlock when standing up (for easy adjustment), taking into account both experience stability and spatial flexibility.

Metal frame display rack

The transition area between the wall cabinet and the central island is used for “scene-based combination product display” (such as bath care sets, travel sets). The black hollowed-out metal frame + shallow wooden shelves. The hollowed-out frame enhances the sense of spatial transparency, while the shallow wooden shelves echo the material of the central island, ensuring a unified style. Small green plants and brand brochures can be placed above the shelves to create a life-like scene and stimulate the desire to purchase and match.
