A good coffee shop is sure to be profitable. Many people want to start their own business but don’t know how to begin. Perhaps reading this article will give you some inspiration.
For a great café, good design, smart furniture placement, and a practical layout all matter a lot. The coffee shop I’m about to show you today is what we poured our hearts into designing. Ever since it opened its doors, it’s been winning great popularity among locals and visitors alike.

Great Big Coffee Bar Counter
We have designed two bar counters of different heights: one is placed against the wall, and the other faces the customers. This layout not only meets the needs of both baristas and customers but also significantly expands the operational space. The front counter features an artificial stone top and a plywood base, standing at approximately 80 centimeters in height—an ideal setup for placing a cash register.
This height also makes it convenient for customers to place their orders. The right side of the counter is designated exclusively for customers to enjoy their coffee, and it also serves as a small dining area. This place is suitable for single people or couples to sit.
The rear counter is primarily designed for staff to prepare coffee. It also features an artificial stone top, which is both durable and waterproof. We have incorporated a three-sink design into this rear counter, which greatly facilitates the cleaning of equipment, cups, and other items. Meanwhile, the rear counter is also equipped with ample storage space—ideal for stowing coffee beans, cleaning supplies, and spare tableware, keeping the work area organized and clutter-free.

Decoration And Dining Area
The interior decor of the café is also of great importance. The wall behind the counter is covered with small red tiles, and the shop’s menu is hung on it. The shop logo, made of acrylic, is painted red. The combination of black and red creates a strong visual impact. Silver LED pendant lights light up the shop, and silver also looks upscale. And potted green plants by the counter bring some life to the space.
The dining area is positioned alongside the floor-to-ceiling windows, and the bar is also facing both the windows and the store entrance. This setup ensures maximum visibility of the coffee shop’s interior for passersby, effectively drawing in potential customers who might be intrigued by what they see inside.
For the coffee bar dining area, we’ve furnished it with several bar stools—designed to ensure seating comfort, with stable structures that make them extremely sturdy. So customers can relax while dining. All the dining chairs and tables are made of metal and solid wood, ensuring exceptional sturdiness and durability. Each round dining table is designed to seat four people comfortably, providing ample space for diners to place their cups, plates and elbows without feeling cramped.
