Within its limited space, this salad shop optimally plans functional zones to ensure both operational efficiency and a positive customer experience. The layout maintains a compact yet uncluttered flow between areas, achieving a balance through strategic color schemes and decorative elements that create a comfortable, refreshing, and vibrant dining environment.

Layout

Above the storefront, there is a striking signboard made of acrylic panels. It reads “my salad” and “Deliciosamente leve” (in Portuguese, meaning “deliciously light”). Next to the signboard, there is a green leaf pattern, which directly conveys the concept that the store mainly offers healthy and light – food options. The wooden beams above the signboard and the orange – and – white awning decorations add a touch of warmth and a casual atmosphere.

Ordering section

The ordering area is located at the front of the store. The counter, made of white artificial marble, is simple and elegant, with a plywood frame on the front. The brand logo “my salad” is also printed on it. Behind the counter is the operating area for the staff, where cash – register equipment and other items are placed. Above the counter, there is a row of electronic display screens. These screens are used to showcase various products of the store, such as salads and beverages. They also display promotional information, like “2x mais” and “30%” discount signs. This enables customers to quickly learn about the promotional activities and product options.

Ingredients Display Area

On the right – hand side of the ordering area, there is a transparent ingredient display cabinet made of tempered glass. Inside the cabinet, a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables are neatly arranged. The vibrant colors make them easily visible at a glance. This not only allows customers to directly observe the freshness of the ingredients but also enhances the store’s appeal. The design of the display cabinet is convenient for customers to select ingredients and also helps the staff manage and replenish the stock.

Preparation area

Behind the ordering area and ingredient display cabinet lies the store’s preparation area. Equipped with various appliances, it features beverage preparation machines on the left side and neatly arranged ingredients like lemons. The backdrop of the work area combines orange and green tones: the orange wall showcases fruit motifs that align with the eatery’s light – food theme, while the green section adds a refreshing touch. In the center of the preparation zone stands a white storage cabinet, which can be used to store ingredients or finished products.

The decorative details in the store are also carefully considered. Wooden shelves are installed on the walls on both sides, and green plants are placed on them. These plants not only serve as decorations but also further strengthen the theme of health and nature.  There is a stainless – steel sink on the countertop of the operation area, which is convenient for the staff to wash ingredients and utensils. Various colored containers for ingredients are neatly arranged on the countertop, making it easy to pick and use them.
