This purple jewelry store is not because the jewelry is not eye-catching enough, but because the display cabinets that wrap them are too good at “matching the play” : the exhibition space that extends from the floor to the wall seems to have broken down the “sense of luxury” into materials, lighting and lines, and integrated them into every corner where the jewelry is placed. The overall tone of the entire store is a soft blend of light beige and ink white, with a few strokes of calm deep blue. The display cabinets are set in this tone, not isolated “shelves”, but a “symbiotic body” of the space.

Display cabinets and space

The display cabinets in this jewelry store have never regarded themselves as “furniture” display cabinets from the very beginning. The walls are made of light grey stone with fine textures, the floor is paved with delicate light beige tiles, and a blue chain device and curved light strips are suspended from the top. The material of the display cabinet perfectly matches these elements: the countertop of the low counter is made of light beige marble of the same color series, the support base is made of stone with ink-wash texture (like the texture of ink spreading on white paper), and the frame is made of fine silver metal. The tall cabinet is framed with transparent glass and thin metal strips, almost “invisible”.

• Square display stand

This display stand in this jewelry store is a square glass display. The top is glass and the bottom is a counter with a marble surface treatment. All the corners have been rounded – the edge of the countertop feels a soft and smooth arc when touched, without any sharp or bumping sensation. The support structure at the bottom is in the shape of “narrow at the top and wide at the bottom”. The base is made of a single piece of stone with ink-wash texture, and the heavy feeling just presses down on the “light material” above. Even if a customer accidentally touches it, it won’t shake severely, being stable and soft.
