Cosmetic store design

The main reception counter at the entrance marks the first dialogue between the brand and its customers. The main body of the cabinet is painted in a light pink matte finish, complemented by metallic gold trim, which not only echoes the brand’s visual system but also highlights a sense of refinement through the contrast of materials. A whole row of perfume bottle display slots is embedded under the countertop. The illuminated sign of “WELCOME TO ORCA” interacts with the fragrance samples in the slots, allowing customers to perceive the core attribute of the “perfume store” the moment they step into the space.

The matrix fragrance wall cabinet behind the counter is structured with a brushed metal frame and a matte backboard as the base color. The height of each row of shelves is customized according to the shape of the perfume bottle (increasing in steps from 15cm to 30cm), ensuring that perfume bottles of different specifications can be “displayed upright with visible labels”. The linear spotlights embedded at the top precisely shine on the middle of the bottle, making the color and texture of the perfume the visual focus.

Makeup area wall cabinet: It adopts a “staggered layering + functional zoning” design. The bottom layer reserves sufficient space for large-volume makeup products (such as eyeshadow palettes and blush boxes). The middle layer uses “diagonal slots” to store small items such as lipsticks and eyebrow pencils. The Angle of the slots ensures that the product labels face the customers directly. The upper level is designed with an open display stand for tool products such as makeup brushes and beauty eggs.

Skincare wall cabinet: Divided into sections based on “product efficacy + usage steps”, from cleansing to essence, face cream to mask, the height and depth of each section’s shelves are strictly adapted to the product size. The mask area adopts “drawer-style display boxes”, allowing customers to easily draw and view them, solving the pain point of “difficult access to products at the back row” in traditional shelf displays.

Fragrance Area wall cabinet: The shelves adopt a “stepped layer height” design, creating a natural visual slope from left to right and from bottom to top, allowing each bottle of perfume to “show its face”. The low-saturation pink matte paint on the back panel avoids reflective interference, and the LED light strip on the top is illuminated in a “diffused” style, highlighting the bottle design and brand logo of the perfume bottle. Just think, who perfume enthusiast could not be tempted and stop in front of such a wall cabinet?

Circular central island cabinet

  • The diameter of the cabinet is uniformly set at 2.5 meters. The white matte baked paint material makes the product the visual center. The bottom is surrounded by 360°LED light strips, creating a soft halo on the ground, which not only enhances the spatial hierarchy but also guides customers to walk around naturally.

  • Functionally, it is divided into three layers: The upper layer is the “Fragrance Experience Set + Makeup Trial Set” zone, equipped with a rotatable acrylic tray. Customers can simply rotate it to browse all categories. Formal products are displayed in the middle layer, and the edges of the shelves are treated with “anti-drop arc edges”. The lower level is a closed storage space, featuring a combination of “drawers + partitions” to ensure efficient and orderly inventory management.

  • In the exclusive central island for fragrances, a “fragrance Tasting interaction counter” is specially set up: the counter is embedded with fragrance evaporators, and beside it are brand story cards. While customers are tasting fragrances, they can learn about the inspiration sources of the perfumes – this immersive experience of “product + story” is precisely the key design for perfume stores to increase the average transaction value.

Beauty salon services

Semi-curved service partition: Combining pink metal frames with transparent acrylic, it creates a semi-private service space, ensuring customer privacy while maintaining a sense of transparency in the space. The “Hair Services” illuminated sign is embedded in the partition to clearly define the functional zoning.

Ergonomic hairdressing chair: The chair body is made of skin-friendly leather, and the backrest Angle can be precisely adjusted. It is paired with a metal rack of the same color series (for placing styling products and tools), making it within easy reach for hairdressers to operate.

Frosted glass storage cabinet: Located at the edge of the service area, the interior is stratified into “tool category, product category, and consumables category”. The frosted glass door not only blocks the clutter but also maintains a light visual effect through the semi-transparent texture. For the frequently used hair care area, such a storage design can significantly improve service efficiency.

Nail bar

Height 850mm:The main body of the bar counter adopts a “pink metal frame + transparent tempered glass countertop”. With a height of 85cm, it conforms to ergonomics, allowing customers to naturally place their arms on the countertop after sitting down.

Nail storage: The nail polish storage compartments on the inner side of the bar counter are designed in an “oblique insertion style”, with micro spotlights embedded above the compartments, allowing the color of each bottle of nail polish to be fully displayed. The grids are divided into sections by “color series + brand”, making it easy for customers to choose colors at a glance.

Coffee table: The round coffee table in the waiting area beside it can place hand care samples or fragrance tasting cards on the countertop, turning the “waiting time for manicures” into an opportunity for product experience. This scene-based related design, in an intangible way, enhances the possibility of cross-consumption.

Hair care area

Design idea:The arched design is inspired by classical architecture. It not only softens the hard feeling of the industrial-style top surface but also guides the customer’s line of sight with a “sequential sense”. The blue tones of the Morandi style form a soft contrast with the pink of the overall space, avoiding color conflicts.

Design detail: The wall cabinet is equipped with “linear LED light strips” that extend from the vault to the bottom, evenly illuminating the displayed hair care products. The shelves are made of anti-slip acrylic material, which makes it less likely for hair masks and shampoos to tip over when placed. Even if customers accidentally touch them, they can still be neatly displayed.

Light sign:For the display of hair care products, this “arch + lighting” design gives each product a “center of attention”. When customers browse, the guiding effect of the lighting can significantly reduce the time for making purchase decisions – in commercial Spaces, “decision-making efficiency” is often directly linked to “purchase conversion rate”.
