When you step into the REKLAIM watch store, you will be surrounded by a minimalist and high-end fashion space. This is not merely a place to showcase watches, but a stage where timepieces speak through design. Unlike traditional watch stores that rely on luxurious materials to showcase their value. REKLAIM adopts a natural approach, turning every detail into a carrier of taste.

Minimalism

The store didn’t like the common decorations found in traditional luxury watch Spaces. The core color tones are white, light and natural elements. The ceiling features a simple white base, complemented by embedded black strip light rails and spotlights.

The most distinctive feature of the space is the white stone-decorated wall back cabinets that run through the entire store. Unlike ordinary high-end stores, this stone wall retains the natural texture of the rock surface. Its uneven lines and light color gradients not only break the monotony of pure white but also ingeniously echo the handcrafted texture of high-end watches.

At the bottom of the stone wall, a green plant landscape belt is embedded. The fresh green leaves contrast with the cold stones and white shelves, softening the sense of distance in the minimalist space.

Reception Desk

The front desk at the store entrance continues the overall minimalist style, but it is not a stiff freezer. It features a pure white panel as the main body, with a black line in the middle. Echoing the black light track on the ceiling, it makes the space design more unified.

Soft strip lights at the bottom of the front desk. When customers enter the store, the front desk integrates into the space as a guiding node. It not only serves the functions of reception and consultation, but also does not disrupt the overall open visual effect of the store.

Wall cabinet

The wall cabinets on both sides of the store are designed as embedded light bar shelves. The white frame structure combines stone decorative walls, and each layer of shelves have hidden light strips. This design has two advantages: Firstly, the light strip directly illuminates the watch placed on the shelf. Make the details of the case and dial more prominent and the light softer.

Secondly, the open shelf design discards the closed glass cabinets. The combination of the white frame and the stone wall also forms a visual framework. Let every wristwatch become an exhibit in the space.

Lastly, the size of the wall-mounted cabinet was built to match the dimensions of a premium timepiece, with approximately 20cm of space between layers. This cabinet will accommodate wristwatch collections of all sizes, with a maximum depth of 15cm for each shelf to provide sufficient depth/height for each watch without allowing them to tip over and fall off the shelves.

Circular Display Case

The circular display case in the centre of the store has the most unique design. In contrast to traditional watch retailers with square counters, the circular shape of this cabinet alters the rigid arrangement of spatial elements. The shape of the circular display cabinet encourages customers to naturally move around the display cabinet, thereby increasing the amount of time they spend in that area.

Using a light-coloured wood grain material for its base, the circular display cabinet features clear glass as its main body. The warm texture of the wood grain helps to offset the colder quality of the stone and white colours as well as provides a sense of continuity with other wood tones throughout the store. The circular display cabinet allows customers to view the displayed watches from 360 degrees and also allows customers to see the orientation of each watch.

The shape of the circular display cabinet allows for increased interaction with customers. Each section of the circular display cabinet can display a different series of watches so that customers can easily view multiple styles in the limited space, thereby making it easier for customers to select their desired watches.

In short, the REKLAIM watch store uses a unique minimalist + natural design language to create a space that is both fashionable and warm. Every detail is carefully designed to let customers feel the brand’s attitude towards watches while appreciating the products.
