New Pharmacy design

The overall style of the pharmacy follows the route of “modern simplicity + light industrial style + natural texture”, without piling up elements of Internet celebrities. Instead, it conveys warmth through the collision of materials. The floor is made of light grey marble-patterned tiles with local terrazzo splicing, which not only ensures the practicality of wear resistance and durability, but also adds visual layers with irregular black and white particles. The ceiling is not designed with a complex suspended ceiling. Instead, a natural wood-colored suspended frame is used in combination with black magnetic track lights, concealing the pipelines within the structure to keep the ceiling clean and tidy.

  • Color system

With high-grade grey as the base, natural wood color as the balance, and finally fluorescent green as the finishing touch. This color scheme not only avoids the coldness and hardness of the industrial style but also avoids the overly sweet and cloying nature of popular online stores. It perfectly aligns with the customer base positioning of cigarette stores, which is “mature, stable yet full of vitality”. For instance, the fluorescent green waistline on the wall extends from the reception desk all the way to the top of the wall cabinets on both sides, like an invisible circulation line guiding customers to unconsciously follow the color flow throughout the entire store.

The entire space adopts a “circular circulation” design. Entering from the entrance, there are double-sided shelves on the left, a reception desk at the front, a full-wall cabinet on the right, and a central island cabinet in the center. Customers can visit all the display areas along a natural route without any visual blind spots.

  • Welcome Area: The double-sided shelves on the left side of the entrance are the “First impression area”, used to display best-selling and new products, allowing customers to catch their eyes as soon as they enter.
  • Core display area: The entire wall cabinet on the right and the central island cabinet are arranged in layers by category and price range to meet the needs of different customers.
  • Reception and negotiation area: The reception desk is not only a cash register but also reserves countertop space for customers to stay and consult. The wooden grille background wall behind adds a sense of privacy.
  • Experience Area: The countertop of the central island cabinet has been treated for anti-slip purposes. Occasionally, it can be used for product appreciation experiences or new product displays, endowing the retail space with a social attribute.

1. The illuminated wall cabinet on the right

The cabinet body is made of shallow wood grain decorative panels, and warm white LED light strips are embedded in each layer. Each layer forms an independent “luminous display stand”. The spacing of the shelves can be flexibly adjusted according to the size of the cigarette box, and suitable display positions can be found for both thin cigarettes and gift boxes. The topmost open shelf is used to display high-end gift boxes, the middle layer holds frequently sold items, and the bottom layer is for storage, perfectly combining “display” and “storage”. Moreover, the light strips have undergone anti-glare treatment, which will not directly shine into the customers’ eyes. Instead, they will gently illuminate the products, making the packaging details of the cigarette boxes clearer.

2. Wooden grain wall cabinet on the left

Unlike the bright appearance on the right, the left wall cabinet features deep wood grain decorative panels paired with black shelves, taking a “calm and reserved” approach, and is specifically designed to display niche and limited edition items. The shelves have been beveled to prevent cigarette boxes from slipping off and to enhance the visual layers. The fluorescent green waistline on the top of the wall cabinet echoes the overall color system, allowing the two side wall cabinets to maintain a sense of unity despite their different styles.

Reception desk

  1. Design highlights: The countertop adopts a fluorescent green beveled design, breaking the traditional square feel of the cash register counter. When viewed from the side, it looks like a “suspended leaf”, which not only enhances the design sense but also conforms to ergonomics – when customers stand in front of the counter, their arms can naturally rest on the inclined surface without feeling tired.
  2. Material details: The cabinet body is coated with black matte paint, the countertop is made of wear-resistant quartz stone, and the background wall behind is a wooden grille with a metal logo. The word “RECEPTION” is in fluorescent green metal characters, which correspond to the color of the countertop and can be seen from a distance.
  3. Hidden function: Drawers and storage compartments are made under the countertop to store cash register equipment, cigarette permits, promotional materials, and even a USB charging port is reserved for customers to charge temporarily. These details make the reception desk not only a “place for cashiers”, but also a “brand touchpoint” that can interact with customers.

Island cabinet

Design: The black modular cabinet body is adopted, and the base is made of terrazzo spliced together, which echoes the floor material and avoids the jarring “suspended” feeling of the central island cabinet. The cabinet body is equipped with multiple layers of drawers for storing inventory, and the countertop is an open display area with anti-slip MATS, which is suitable for placing promotional items or new product sets.

Lighting enhancement: The edge of the cabinet is embedded with linear light strips. When the lights are turned on at night, the central island cabinet is like a “glowing box”, firmly attracting customers’ attention. Moreover, the height of the central island cabinet just reaches an adult’s waist, not blocking the view and ensuring a sense of transparency in the space.
