As the store’s core reception area, customers can sit on high stools at the bar counter and observe florists transforming floral materials into works of art up close. This visual process, from flower selection to creation, significantly enhances the customer experience and creates a sense of trust. Supported by two “solid wood barrel” columns (retaining the original wood’s rough texture, reinforced with black metal hoops for an industrial feel), the countertop is a single, distressed solid wood slab with faux-worn edges to recreate a handcrafted feel. The countertop is long enough to accommodate two to three florists working simultaneously. Underneath, hidden drawers (for scissors and tape) and open compartments (for wrapping paper and ribbons) ensure tools and supplies are both within easy reach and invisible.

High stool

The stool is made of pure solid wood, and the curved surface is polished to fit the curve of the hips, so you won’t feel tired when sitting for a long time; the thin straight legs are equipped with non-slip pads at the bottom, which is stable and will not scratch the floor; the height is precisely matched with the bar (ergonomic comfort scale), so customers can naturally put their arms on the bar, and maintain a relaxed posture when communicating or resting.

Multi-layered stepped solid wood display stand

The multi-layered, stepped display stands are crafted from natural wood panels, preserving the original grain and soft, hand-polished edges. Every inch of the texture exudes a natural warmth. The structure is staggered, with the height difference between levels (increasing by 15cm from the bottom to the top) carefully tuned to human visual perception and handling habits.

This design breaks the monotony of a flat display. The bottom level accommodates large gift boxes and glass-covered floral arrangements (such as preserved flower installations), the middle level displays aromatherapy jars and small bouquets, and the top level features transparent jars for decorative candies. This design not only avoids obstruction of the merchandise but also guides the eye upwards, allowing customers to touch the merchandise on each level, enhancing the sense of interaction.

The solid wood frame is paired with invisible metal brackets, leaving a 5cm gap between the wall and the frame for ventilation. The shelves are wide at the bottom and narrow at the top (35cm at the bottom, 20cm at the top, and 18cm deep). The bottom shelf supports large potted plants or flower baskets, the middle shelf accommodates medium-sized bouquets, and the top shelf displays single flowers or floral accessories, perfectly accommodating floral containers of various sizes. A hidden warm light strip on the back of the stand shines from above the shelves, highlighting the texture of the petals and the transparency of the glass vases. The cabinet’s antique solid wood frame and highly transparent glass create a natural, vintage feel while ensuring unobstructed views. The internal shelves are adjustable, allowing for flexible adjustment to suit the height of floral arrangements (from large installations to mini flower boxes), accommodating a full range of product categories. A soft lighting system embedded within the cabinet, projecting light from the top, restores the true colors of the flowers (such as the softness of pink bouquets and the elegance of purple flowers). The coolness of the glass and the warmth of the solid wood create a sense of “treasured art,” making it an ideal display for high-end floral arrangements and limited-edition gifts.

Display table

A light-colored solid wood long table, thick and smooth, sits alongside the floor-to-ceiling windows, perfectly supporting floral arrangements and ornaments. Natural light casts a halo of light on the merchandise during the day, while a nightlight creates a cozy atmosphere at night. The accompanying rounded solid wood stools offer flexible seating options, allowing customers to relax and enjoy the view or hold small flower arrangement workshops where they can gather and learn how to make bouquets, strengthening the store’s customer base.

A fusion of vintage ironwork and warm solid wood creates a vibrant atmosphere. Hanging plants (ferns and ivy) are suspended from the corners of the shelves, their vines naturally draping down to complement the vertical plantings on the wall. Artistic floral vessels are placed on the shelves, filling the empty space and serving as a backdrop for customers to check in, indirectly driving traffic to the store.

Single spherical lights (distributed across the display and leisure areas, providing soft, even illumination for both merchandise and the space); clusters of “bubble lights” (centrally located above the bar, resembling scattered starlight and adding a dreamy feel); and large glass ball chandeliers (as shown in Figure 7, with their transparent glass and warm light, serving as both a focal point and an artistic installation, elevating the space’s style). The varying light types, brightness levels, and color temperatures create an exhilarating sense of “discovering beauty” in the display area and a relaxing feeling of “enjoying beauty” in the leisure area.

Ferns, ivy and other hanging plants are suspended from the ceiling, paired with transparent or retro hanging pots to soften the hard lines of the metal or solid wood ceiling. The density varies in different areas – slightly sparse above the display area (to allow light to penetrate), and denser above the leisure area (to create a “sky garden” feeling). When customers look up, they will see the greenery hanging down, instantly dispelling the fatigue of the city.
