1. Overall Concept & Visual Positioning

This all-in-one service counter stands as the main visual highlight of this cartoon-style fast food restaurant. We paired bold red and bright yellow tones with terrazzo to build distinct layered textures. Built as a commercial food service counter designed for trendy food shops, it combines order taking, equipment storage and product display all in one unit. Every curve and color tone matches the shop’s wall paint, dining furniture and cartoon decor perfectly. It balances eye-catching, photo-friendly looks and real practicality for daily fast food business.

2. Exterior Design & Surface Materials

Front Cladding

  • Vertical ridged red panels cover the whole front of the counter. Neat vertical stripes stop large red surfaces from looking dull, and the exact same red shade matches the wall paint around the shop. This counts as a full custom restaurant counter design that fits the whole interior theme without any disjointed details.

Countertop

  • We picked speckled black-and-white terrazzo for the working surface. The countertop is wide enough for daily prep work, and we added a raised lip along all edges. This lip blocks spilled drinks and sauces from running off, so shop staff can wipe and clean the surface easily every day.

Side Partition

  • A matching terrazzo partition stretches out from the counter’s left side, fully attached to the main counter frame. Shop owners can place small decorative ornaments on top of this partition. It naturally splits the walking paths inside the restaurant, while also making the whole counter look more complete and connected.

3. Equipment Layout & Workstation Zoning

Central Zone: We set this middle spot aside for a double-screen cash register and receipt printer. Staff can handle customer orders and full checkout steps right here without moving around.

Right Zone: The flat counter space on the right holds coffee machines, blenders and cold drink mixers for daily drink making. All power cords run inside the counter cabinet, so there are no messy loose wires spread across the work surface.

Interior Cabinet: We built hollow slots inside the cabinet body to fit large refrigerators and food warmers. All bulky kitchen gear hides inside the counter, leaving the outer worktop fully open. This layout gives staff plenty of room to work, and makes this unit a highly usable fast food service counter.

4. Upper Display & Storage Structure

A long yellow multi-layer shelf runs the full length above the counter, forming a complete fast food display counter set.

Shelves & Storage

  • We line the layered shelves with clear sealed glass jars. Shops can fill these jars with coffee beans, snack raw materials and takeaway packaging. Transparent jars let customers see stored ingredients clearly, and also add extra decorative touches to the space.

Lighting

  • Long LED light strips install directly above the shelf frame. Lights shine down onto all items on display, making stored goods look more attractive to passing guests.

Menu Display

  • A large printed food menu hangs on the wall next to the shelf. It lists all selling items such as burgers, light snacks, ice cream and different drinks. Customers can read the full menu clearly while standing at the counter, and shops do not need to put up extra separate menu boards.

5. Material Durability & Operational Efficiency

We only use commercial standard materials for this counter, all treated to resist water and oil stains.
  • Red Grooved Panels: These vertical red panels are tough and simple to maintain. Staff can wipe away splashed grease or sauce with a regular cloth in seconds, perfect for food shops that stay open all day long.
  • Terrazzo Countertop: Terrazzo has a hard solid surface. It will not scratch easily even after constant contact with kitchen tools and machines, and it will never turn yellow or soak up tough stains after years of use.

6. Spatial Layout & Traffic Flow

The counter uses an L-shaped layout to split two separate activity zones.
  • Customer Side: The outer edge of the counter leaves an open aisle for guests to place orders and collect finished meals.
  • Staff Side: The inner space behind the counter acts as a private working area for employees.
These two separate paths never cross each other, so there will not be crowded bottlenecks during busy rush hours.

7. Holistic Store Atmosphere

The counter’s red, yellow and terrazzo color scheme ties in well with other shop fittings: bright yellow walls, red ceiling panels, red-and-white checkered wall trim, yellow dining tables and brown padded chairs. Paired with cartoon wall stickers and old-style metal hanging lamps, the whole restaurant forms a unified fun retro fast food vibe for all visitors.
