Fashion barber shop design

Most barber shops feature black and industrial styles as their main themes. But why not create a vibrant and distinctive salon among so many shops with the same design? The matte white wall is set against the light grey cement-textured floor. A touch of calm royal blue meaves along the curved partition. The wavy light strip on the ceiling is like a crumpled nebula. Even the luminous logo of Shiseido “GINZA TOKYO” is hidden in the black background wall, appearing restrained and sophisticated.

Hair-washing area

The waiting area is adorned with moon-patterned decorative paintings, and mini astronaut figurines are placed on the shelves. The ceiling of the hair-washing area is directly designed as a “starry sky ceiling”, with twinkling stars enveloping a soft glow. Even the wavy light strips on the ceiling seem to have brought the curves of nebulae into the interior.

The hair-washing area is a separate small space. As soon as you enter, you can feel that “the atmosphere has changed” : the ceiling simulates the entire starry sky, and the twinkling stars, combined with the embedded light strips on the wall, make the light as soft as the dusk in the evening. Three white one-piece hair washing beds are placed side by side. The countertop is made of smooth artificial stone, which is waterproof and easy to clean. Paired with a black marble base, the texture is immediately enhanced.

Hair-cutting counter

The hair-cutting area is an open layout, but a “soft partition” is made with arc-shaped acrylic partitions in royal blue – it neither makes the space feel crowded nor closed, but also retains a bit of privacy for each hair-cutting position, avoiding the situation where customers and those beside them look at each other in bewildering.

Next to the reception desk is a white storage cabinet with a numerical number. Each compartment is just the right size to hold items like backpacks and coats, eliminating the need to struggle to find your own cabinet. It is both practical and in harmony with the overall style. The black background wall behind the storage cabinet perfectly sets off Shiseido’s illuminated logo, and the brand sense immediately emerges.

Waiting area

The orange fabric sofa is soft and cozy, creating a touch of smoke and fire in the cold tones of white, gray and blue. A fluffy cloud-shaped chandelier hangs above, with warm yellow light that perfectly balances the coldness and hardness of the futuristic feel. The shelves on the wall are decorated with mini astronauts and small spaceship ornaments, and the moon decorative paintings beside them reflect the theme of “interstellar space”

Arched light-emitting mirror

The frame of the mirror is made of slender metal, which does not look bulky. The surrounding light strip has just the right brightness – allowing the barber to clearly see the details of each hair strand without dazzling the customer’s eyes. The logo of Shiseido is also printed above the mirror, quietly enhancing the texture of the salon.

White tool cabinet

Next to the mirror is a white tool cabinet. The capacity of the drawers is just enough to hold scissors, combs, and dye. The surface is made of matte material, which is not easy to leave fingerprints and can be wiped clean. It is very suitable for high-frequency usage scenarios like salons.

Hairdressing chair

The ergonomic design features a white and black color scheme. The white shell is made of matte plastic, and any dye or hair spray splashed on it can be wiped off easily. The black soft package is made of leather, providing a strong sense of wrapping when sitting on it. Even if you sit for one or two hours and get your hair permed, you won’t feel tired. The metal base is very stable. When it rotates, there is no noise and it won’t disturb the customers nearby.
