The wall surface features the original texture of fair-faced concrete. The light grey patterns conceal the rough touch of cement, yet there is not a hint of disorder. The ceiling is made of matte black integrated ceiling, which forms a contrast of light and dark with the cold grey of the walls, but does not feel oppressive. The overall tone of the space is neutral colors of black, white and grey, but there are subtle touches of light luxury hidden in the details: the lines of silver metal, the texture of marble and the softness of leather blend the “coldness” of industrial style and the “warmth” of refinement together.

Waiting area

The waiting area is adjacent to the large floor-to-ceiling Windows facing the street, and the abundant natural light makes the place bright and spacious first. The black leather three-seater sofa is placed against the wall. The seat surface is matte black leather, with a fine texture when touched. The softness and hardness of the backrest are just right for people to relax and sink in. Two bright orange single lounge chairs are placed beside it. The striking color is like a “visual dessert”, perfectly balancing the coldness of the industrial style.

On the white round coffee table in the middle, there were a few sports magazines that I could casually flip through. At the corner of the table, there was a small aroma diffuser. The faint woody fragrance, mingled with the smoky aroma of coffee, wafted over. It turned out that the light gray coffee table beside was embedded with a coffee machine. On the shelf, there were glass coffee cups and canned coffee beans. During the intervals when customers were waiting for their numbers, they could make a cup by themselves. Even the boredom of waiting has lessened a bit.

Two rows of hairdressing positions are arranged along the longitudinal direction of the space, each facing the mirror on the wall, forming a perfectly symmetrical layout. The distance between each barber shop stand is approximately 1.5 meters, which is sufficient for the barber to turn around and operate, and does not make customers feel “surrounded”. The cement joints on the ground are exactly in line with the arrangement of the haircuts, and even the details exude a neat and orderly texture. The most interesting part is the wall at the end of the hairdressing area: it uses black diamond-shaped dark-patterned panels with small patterns of scissors and combs printed on them.

• Mirror with LED light

The mirrors and chairs at each barber stand are the most eye-catching combination in the entire store. The mirror features a narrow silver metal frame, with a circle of soft LED light strips embedded around it. Even on a cloudy day, it can clearly reflect the layers and color of the hair. On the side of the mirror, there is also a layered storage rack. The lower layer is for scissors sleeves, and the upper layer is for commonly used shaped products. This not only saves storage space but also makes each workstation look neat.

• Hair chairs

When sitting on it, you can feel the support of the backrest, and even the height of the armrests is just right for the elbows to relax. The base is a shiny silver metal with the classic spiral shape of a vintage barber chair. When the light is turned on, the luster of the metal can cast faint light spots on the cement floor, blending the coldness and hardness of industrial style with the softness of leather.

Beside each hairdressing mirror, there is an open storage rack. Transparent bottles of shampoo and hair paste printed with brand labels are neatly arranged by color. This serves as both a tool storage area for the hairdresser and a product display area. When customers are unsure which type of hair wax suits them, the hairdresser can directly pick it up and introduce it, which is much more natural than pointing through a glass cabinet.

Behind the reception desk, on the wall, there is also a layer of black open shelves, displaying several limited edition grooming products, accompanied by vintage metal decorative bottles. This design not only takes up little space but also integrates “product display” into the space design, avoiding the artificial appearance of dedicated display cabinets.
