In the current fierce competition in the coffee industry, decoration design is the key breakthrough to create an unforgettable coffee shop that is willing to check in repeatedly. From the spatial foundation to the details, this shop hides the ingenuity of creating a “unique” one. The following is a disassembly analysis.
Style Fusion
Industrial Base：The cement columns are undecorated, with rough texture and time – worn traces. The exposed pipes and beams, acting as the space’s “bones”, give a raw industrial feel. Dark gray, cement gray, and black are the main colors. The floor is paved with dark gray stone bricks, and the operation – area walls are covered with dark gray tiles, creating a calm industrial atmosphere for other elements to integrate into.
Natural Elements：One wall is covered with dense green plants, like an indoor “urban oasis”. The natural vitality contrasts with the industrial coldness, breaking the space’s dullness and giving customers a jungle – like relaxation. Wooden shelves and some tables and chairs add warmth, neutralizing the industrial chill and making the space feel more down – to – earth.
Space Layout
Open Operation Area:We separate the bread baking and coffee making areas with glass, or leave them open.Customers can see the bread fermentation and coffee extraction processes, increasing trust and turning coffee making into a visual performance. The operation and guest areas are smoothly connected, with a short ordering line, for a coherent “coffee making – enjoying” experience and a strong “coffee social” atmosphere.
Multiple Seating Areas：A corner with a single sofa and small side table, softly lit, creates a “comfortable – alone” space for working, reading or relaxing. Leather – covered booths around round tables are suitable for gatherings, with a retro texture that blends with the industrial style. High tables and bar chairs by the window offer street – scene views, turning customers into the store’s “scenery” and extending the coffee experience to “city observation”.
Detailed Design
Some areas use metal grids instead of walls. The grids’ transparency prevents the space from feeling cramped while enhancing the industrial style. Coffee cups and plants can be hung on the grid to create a “changeable display wall”. The neon sign outlines bread and coffee shapes with warm light, adding liveliness and retro feeling. Edison bulbs, with their warm, flickering light, soften the metal and cement, creating a unique “retro industrial” atmosphere.
Hidden storage cabinets under the operation area and beside guest – area sofas hold cups and tools, keeping counters clean and tidy. Different areas have different lighting brightness and color temperature, meeting functional needs while using light and shadow to shape the spatial hierarchy and create an “atmosphere” highlight.
