Tapered Body
This optical island counter uses a modern tapered body that is slightly wider at the deck than at the floor, with angled side faces and crisp painted edges. The cabinet builds from MDF finished in a smooth, hard-wearing white coating that wipes clean and resists daily wear. The wider top provides a generous display surface while the narrower footprint keeps floor space open around the unit. An enclosed storage cavity behind push-latch access panels holds backup frames, cases, and tools. The standard island measures 1500mm long, 700mm wide, and 1000mm high including the mirrors, with dimensions, taper angle, and paint color customizable to order.
LED Seam
A continuous LED strip sits in a recessed seam where the top deck meets the body, running around the visible sides to produce a soft floating glow under the deck. The strip uses low-heat LEDs behind a diffuser for even light without visible dots, and the color temperature is selectable from warm 3000K to neutral 4000K or cool 6000K. A concealed driver and cable routing sit inside the base, and the lighting runs on the store circuit with an optional dimmer or motion switch. A polished gold stainless steel trim band wraps the entire perimeter of the deck just above the LED seam, adding a reflective metal edge that frames the display and catches ambient light; the trim is also available in brushed gold, chrome, or black steel. The LED line also defines the counter edge in low-light interiors and pairs with other LED-lit display counters for a consistent lit presentation.
Grid Deck
The top is a white deck machined with a regular grid of small slots, so eyewear stands, risers, and holders can be placed at any grid point and rearranged without tools. This lets staff change the layout between optical frames and sunglasses or adjust density for new collections. Stands are supplied as single posts, stepped risers, or velvet pads to match the product range, and the deck surface is sealed for easy cleaning. Two arch-shaped try-on mirrors mount toward the back of the deck on polished brass frames, giving customers a clear view while trying frames; mirror count, shape, and metal finish are all customizable.
Store Use
This island suits modern optical practices, sunglass boutiques, and department store eyewear floors as a central browsing or try-on station, and it combines with straight counters and optical island cabinets within a coordinated eyewear store design. The lit seam and brass mirrors work in minimalist, luxury, and tech-forward interior palettes, and the same body can be produced without mirrors or with added glass cases. Body shape and paint, LED color and brightness, deck grid spacing, stand set, mirror design, and overall dimensions are all built to order; send a floor plan and our team configures the optical frame display cases and optical display furniture to the space.

Rtdisplay’s in-house design and fabrication teams build contemporary optical counters from scratch, including LED-lit and mirror-integrated designs. Our design office prepares drawings and 3D views for optical frame display cases, LED-lit display counters, optical island cabinets, and wall systems, and our wood, metal, paint, glass, acrylic, and lighting workshops make every component directly. This island pairs a tapered white body, a glowing LED seam, a grid-slot deck, and brass-framed arch mirrors. Body shape and color, LED temperature, deck grid, mirror style, and dimensions are all made to order for your eyewear store design.
